He has upped the carbocisteine dosage to two, three times a day and another emergency pack. Not sure if the carbocisteine works, but will carry on and see how it goes. Thanks for all the support from my friends.
That's what I have 2 3times daily hope it helps
My husband used to use Sterimar nasal spray because he had Sinus problems but it has other uses. I recommended it to my cousin & also one of my friends as they had really irritating coughs ( nasal drip apparently. ) It worked well for both of them but not sure if mucus was involved. He also tried the sinus rise that Georgina says she uses but that didn't help Mike at all. What works for one doesn't work for others does it ?

Hi, So sorry to hear of your mucus problems. I see your GP has put your intake of Carbicisteine up. Have you tried "huffing" through a small tube manufactured by Clement Clarke CM20 2TT uk before you take the tablets or other meds. It seems to irritate the throat and importantly bring up mucus/phlem so the meds achieve a better effect. Other than that have you tried an Acapella flutter machine you use this for a little longer but it seems to achieve the same effect.

Thanks for the info I will have a look at the first one
