Langerhans disease

Joined a site specific to my crazy illness. It is soooo depressing that I could not stay on for long, but do check it out daily. My hr long consultation with specialist Thursday. I got questions but not too many I am going to compose some more. My RBC are low and other than that my thyroid is feeling like its out of wack again?? The lab techs are getting to know me at the local hospital, which ain't good. Just had a pile done but none included mt thyroid or cholesterol so I guess I will wait for Thursday Dr.appointment as I am sure he will check something too,but who knows. I really am not as afraid as I was a few wks ago,but then I feel it creep back into my brain and kinda break down time to time. I love reading all the stories on this site. About rehab, and walking and just all the posts. Humor is great for me,so Thankyou Nigel. You make me laugh, alt. I picture rehab! The group of you are very helpful and so glad I found this site! :)

Thanks Tracy. I never heard of it either. I don't even think my primary did either. Its that rare doctors do not know much. Hope this next doctor can shed light on this dark disease. Got confirmation call regarding it today, all I do is have mini break downs all day, over nothing. I pray alot, idk what else i can do,its funny but not because when thkngs were better,i took life and things for granted i suppose, now i appreciate all, mostly kindness and this was kind of people on this site. Mine in usa is very dark, more children. Which breaks my heart. Thank you for your kindness

Hi I too had never heard of your disease but having looked it up can see how you get so depressed - it sounds horrific. So sorry for you. Whilst we all have problems with our breathing etc. and our daily struggles also get very depressing if I had to choose I think better the devil I know viz. the COPD - do hope you get your medications and treatments sorted soon.. Take care xxx
