any one have any stories that will help me decide?

I guess it's for a lung condition.

I have been to Doncaster for another health issue, and my husband to Northern General for a small operation. ....but not lung related.

That's not much help, sorry.

I know Rotherham NHS operates a Breathingspace facility for COPD patients at Badsley Moor Lane.

I had no choice....I had to go to Doncaster. Did my PR there, and that was good, but I'm afraid that I have nothing to compare it with. Sorry! 😊

Absolutely. If you have lung disease, you simply MUST ask to go to BreathingSpace in Rotherham. It is a purpose-built respiratory unit with a 20-bed in-patient section. It is the only one of its kind in the world and it has an excellent, and well justified reputation. The staff there have kept me alive for 10 years:the care is second to none.
