Scruffy didn,t have COPD

I worry about my Feline chum

Her little face is rather glum

Perhaps she has our dreaded curse

Or maybe even something worse?

So i put an Oximeter on her Paw

She never moved and let out a snore

I measured about 95% on Sats

Which isn't bad for little cats

I would take her for a Spirometry test

But all she does is eat and rest

I quickly checked her Breathing Rate

I missed a Beat was i too late?

Thankfully all was normal no need to worry

If this is boring i,m truly sorry

Scruffy never had COPD after all

She just coughed up a huge Fur Ball

Scruffy is a lovely cat

She's neither thin nor is she fat

Glad she's not got COPD

Cats and fur balls, that's how it has to be. Xxxx

Just what is needed, a Bard that's new.

I pass the baton on to you. :-)

Is there any chance that my prob is a fur ball? I don't chew my hair even though it's plenty long enough to do so :)

I once put an oxymetre on my cats paw

It recorded zero, so that's the score

He obviously hasn't got copd

So I have still got my cat with me!

I couldn't imagine him with an oxygen mask

What's it for I could hear him ask?

How can I chase the garden mice

With this thing on - that's not nice.

Try him on Salbutamol

Though be careful if his eyeballs roll

Seratide could be a better bet

But he might make his bedding wet

Try him on a Nebuliser

It might make him an early riser

But most of all observe his Sats

Thats what we do for our dear Cats

I gave him the symbicort but he coughed even more

And the ventolin just made him snore

I told him to get off the evil weed

But he ignored me to go and feed

But to him I take off my hat

As he really is a lovely cat!

COPD

Oh woe is me,

Enough of that

I'm just a cat.

I'm here to eat

And rest and play

So take your oxithingy

And go away.

Signed: Scruffy the cat

Bugger iv'e started a written landslide of dubious verse

Its a veritable Sunami

I knew that things could only get worst

I'm off to rejoin the Army.xx

As long as you don't take your cat to the army

Coz that would be completely barmy!
