Hi
Although a small percentage Spiriva can cause constipation.
Bloating can be caused by swallowing air when eating. when I ask my consultant he said " it's aged related" thankfully bloating no longer a problem. Eat slowly and swallow on the exhale.
There are foods that cause bloating.

I would speak to your GP , he/she can give you a mild laxative, which may resolve the problem.
Just another issue we have to contend with.
Oats, oat bran and porridge contain natural laxatives; and make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids. If you're underweight, enjoy those oaty flapjacks!
I suffer from constipation from time to time, my respiratory nurse prescribed Movical which is a powder which is dissolved in a small amount of water. It's gentle and usually works within a day. Keep smiling

Try drinking a small solution of brown sugar and warm water. We give this to our constipated granddaughter
Check the side effects in the patient leaflets for your meds. As Stone says, constipation is a side mentioned in Spiriva. Spiriva and the like, SeeBri Ultibro etc can cause a much rarer problem of paralysis of the small intestine which causes bloating, belching and acid reflux.
If you're on any of those, you could come off for a week or two & try an alternate inhaler like Fomoterol in the mean time. Drs/nurses don't seem to spot the side effects IME but you'll need to see GP or respiratory nurse to get a change.
Best wishes
I take a long list of medications for COPD Emphysema and Arterial Fibrillation and High BP along with three inhalers. All of them listing constipation as a possible side effect. I take Lactulose as prescribed by my Doctor and that seems to cure the problem.
