Congratulations, Grandchildren are a pleasure to have and give so much love and joy. I have 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild ranging in age from 25 to 7 and they are all so special. A Christmas baby will be lovely, what date is he / she due ?

Con grat on you first one i was be a grate grand dad in november wich i am not lookinv forwood to az it means more spending mor shopping for the wife as you can say she will more than likey to spend spend on it as much she can with out a thourt for anything like she says she can do it now as she will not be here for ever and she nows i will not do it as to count 5 grand kids now this one

Yep but best think is when they come over and ask to baby sit you can allways give them back how bliz is that nice to see them come but heven when they gone

Oh lovely! Bet you're already drawn towards all those lovely little baby clothes, teddy bears, baby blankets etc. Think I wanted to buy practically every little cuddly toy I saw when my first grandchild was ' a beanie'. He's nineteen now, and of course now I haven't got a clue what to buy for him when his birthday comes around. 🤔

Lol I'm crocheting if that's the word well given it a go ...first attempt ever I'm not the kind of person to sit n knit crochet but I'm a granny lol xxx and I'm sure like you in 19 years won't know what to buy but teddies n blankets are my priority now have a brilliant day xxx

Congratulations! We have twin grandsons that will be 4 this month, and a 3 month old granddaughter. And each of our daughters has said no more children for them. We live in the US and one daughter (with twins) lives in New York City and the other daughter (with daughter) lives in Los Angeles, and we live in TN (in the middle of the country). So needless to say, we don't get to see the grand babies often at all. But we have a dandy time when we do!! You will love being a grand mother!

Well jealous Angiecbr. My daughter Katie who is 33 is going travelling again with her partner Marc, for a couple of years, they came home at Christmas after 18 months travelling. So no sign of kiddies from them yet. My son Jason met a lovely lady Emma 3 years ago and he has just set up a new business with her dad, and his girlfriend is very much enjoying her job, we've chatted about children and she wants to climb that work ladder a bit more first. So no sign from them to yet. Can't wait to be a nanny. xx

Congratulations! It's one of the greatest feeling you'll ever have when that baby comes. My granddaughter is now 5 and my son's fiancé is now expecting #2! My granddaughter owns my heart 100%. There's no other love like it. Another great reason to make sure I do everything I'm supposed to with my COPD. Be well and God bless.
