Hi all,
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists is doing some exciting work, deciding what are the most important things to research about physiotherapy. These priorities will help them, and other organisations, decide what research into physiotherapy will get funded over the next few years.
And they’d like your help.
You may not realise it but pulmonary rehabilitation is considered a form of physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy is one of the main treatments for bronchiectasis, but is also important for many other lung conditions as it can teaches you breathing techniques and how to clear mucus from your chest.
With that in mind, do you have questions about physiotherapy that you think should be researched?
If so, you can help the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy by telling them your questions in this short online survey: csp.org.uk/professional-uni...
It’s hard to say how long it will take. If you just have one or two questions then it’ll be very quick, but it will take longer if you have loads.
We need to make sure that the needs of people with lung conditions are part of these priorities.
Thank you for reading this and thank you in advance if you’re able to help!
All the best,
Bethany
