Anyone really struggling at the moment? My breathing is awful, which is to say, one up from terrible. Saw GP yesterday re something else so she checked me out, things seem OK but has given me a course of steroids, hopefully this will calm me down

Yes I have the same problem with hay fever, makes my breathing worse and feel chesty.I can't take the usual antihistamine tablets since they make me feel drowsy even though some of them say that they won't.At present,I'm trying Boot's allergy barrier nasal spray and it seems to help a bit but still not as good as I would like.
I don't have it yet as it's grass pollen Im sensitive to and that comes later. I get Ceterizine from my GP and it's never once made me drowsy, think it's a different kind of formulation so maybe worth checking out.
I buy Ceterizine over the counter and take half of one at 8pm sometimes when my sleep pattern goes haywire. It helps me stay asleep all night 😳. I daren't take it any later than 8pm or I can't wake up in the mornings. XX
Terrible for the last month or so. I get hay fever from March to September. I take nasal sprays and tablets from the doctor to help but this year it is worse than ever. Happy breathing all.
