You've got me singing Men of Harlech now. It's years and years since I ve been to Harlech , don't think I went to that beach though.

Yes I'm staying a while. You'd think I'd get inspired being here wouldn't you, but it doesn't work like that for me. I have to be in my office thinking about it rather than seeing it. When I'm on holiday I'm too relaxed and just soak it up for later.

I got told off this morning, at breakfast by another visiter here who speaks fluent Welsh, but English without a trace of Welsh accent. I complained that when I went in a local shop, cafe or pub the people started speaking Welsh, which I thought was so that I couldn't understand. He pointed out that Welsh was their first language and they spoke Welsh whether I was there or not! That's an arrogant Englishman for you.
