Interesting Tidbit on Genetics....

Got this in my news bin on Facebook and thought I'd pass it along; seems there's been some interesting in the cultural make up of Britain:

blogs.ancestry.com/cm/briti...

“The UK has been a cultural and ethnic melting pot for not just generations, but centuries, and…while it’s fascinating looking at this data on a national scale, the fun really starts when you test your own DNA…”

Regards,

Duncan

DNA testing sites are very limited with accurate information as they just don't have the breadth of info on their databases. Take note that DNA testing sites sell your DNA to unnamed but searchable commercial and other organisations (read the privacy terms). It's a very interesting topic but until I'm offered serious money to give up my DNA, I'll hold off doing this. Think I may be waiting a long time!!
