Oxygen
It's simple. Your oxygen needs will be assessed and then a prescription will be issued if you need oxygen.
Thank you so fed up of being inside perhaps won't feel so poorly with some time out
The "magic number" for oxygen saturation levels is 88% -- well, it's 90% actually, but I was told that once mine got below 88% I'd to put my oxygen on. Seems to me that if you are regularly down in the 80s, you need supplementary oxygen to just stay alive, let alone function.
There's nothing wrong with ambulatory oxygen if it helps you to get around. L-TOT (long term oxygen therapy) could be a bit more problematic but I still get about using cylinders, a concentrator of combination of the two. What I _do_ know is that if my SATs get too low and stay there, I'm doing a lot of damage to my internal organs, which I really don't need to do: I've enough problems with my lousy lung!
