Caring for someone with COPD

Hi,

A friend of mine is caring for someone who suffers from COPD.

The COPD suffer lives in the London Borough of Hackney. Would there be any organisation in the Hackney area that could offer my friend and someone that suffers from COPD, some practical and emotional support ?

Thanks,

Karen

Hello Karen and welcome. The people here come from far and wide, many from abroad. We can offer lots of emotional support and sometimes help or advice with problems but for practical help your friend would be better to look locally. I wish you well, Sue x

Hi there. I know there's no groups in Hackney so ask the GP for a referral to Pulmonary Rehabiliation Therapy. There's a choice of 3 places locally and can take a couple of months to come through. There are great places to walk though and that's good for the lungs and the soul. Aim for somewhere with a cuppa and cake en route!

Thanks all for the help (:
