Hi guys, i was diagnosed with copd about three years ago, have been hospitalised three times ,last time was Dec 2015 with pneumonia, came out of hospital with bipap as oxygen levels drop very low while sleeping. I'm on ambulatory oxygen, although I have regular check ups at the hospital for both oxygen and bipap, I don't have a consultant for my copd , the nurse at my surgery deals with my inhalers , after having four chest infections back to back my respiratory nurse said she would ask my gp to refer me to respiratory consultant, should I not have already had one after being hospitalised for three times ? I'm not complaing just curious
