AS asked the other day if anyone had heard from Toci - it has occurred to me that Nikkers hasn't posted for ages either. Is she just taking a break - does anyone know ?

Missing.
Morning Helen, Nikkers is not on HU now. She was suspended l believe and l pm'd her s whije back but heard nothing. Shame really.
I do think often of Jimmy, Farmer D and Plumbob. So many, l'm sure others will think of more. Xxxx
Nikkers profile is still active so maybe she will post again. Let's hope so. Xxxx
Now that you mention it Sassy, I think that I remember that, but it would be good to know how she is plus the others you have mentioned. Always a worry when they sudd go silent. Hope you & Pete are well, stay warm & snuggle !!!!! 😘
I agree and think of people often. Very cold here today but staying in the warm. You take care Helen. Xxxxx
Yes, it is frustrating, Helen and Carole. People who are very ill and we cannot but help thinking the worse. Tenter? Last heard of in hospital, unable to move without his sats plummeting and with IPF. Martine? Also IPF and so ill, waiting for transplant and having to move home to her parents. And others. My younger daughter has instructions to get on here using my password and user name and let you guys know what is happening if I'm unable to do so for any reason. But it maybe is not something that people want to think about?

I pm'd Martine some time ago but heard nothing. Good reply there Kate so thanks for that. Won't be hearing about you for a very long time. Xxxx
I agree K, maybe some people don't want to think about things, but as you say, we can only assume the worst rightly or wrongly if we don't hear anything. Stay well & warm K. x
Thanks Helen. I too had PMd Martine but didn't hear anything. I so miss her feistiness.

Martine was the other one I was thinking of Sassy. Such a brave, lovely lady - I so hope she is ok. x
Also Jimmy and the lady that had a stroke, Huggs.. Shame there's not some way to check on members. Should be a better way. Ruby🌹
As far as I know Huggs is ok just not able to come back to the site at the moment. I know I am one of a few on here who do keep in touch but haven't done for a while. I will give her a bell. x
Nikki is fine honey but dosnt want to come back on the forum
Hope you had a lovely Christmas x
I think a lot of people just stop posting, then stop reading and eventually stop coming here altogetether. That happens on all Internet groups. But because of the nature of this site, it's not strange that we fear for someone's health if we don't hear from them for a while.
As regards Toci, she often takes a break from here for a few weeks. She may be unwell and at this time of year, few of us are at our best. But equally, she may pop up here any day now so let's not worry unduly.
Surprised to hear Nikkers was suspended, not surprised she doesn't feel like coming back. She was a bright intelligent lady and I never found anything she said offensive.
I have sent Toci a message but so far not received a reply. Hope she is just taking a break.
I agree that you can't help but fear the worst when people go missing. Farmer D, being one I often wonder about. There's not much we can do about it either.
Hi Helen there are lots of people who do not post so frequently now and some have left the site or passed away sadly. xx
sadly so many good people have left so sad
A while back, I suggested having a list of members, who had passed away. BLF were in favour of the idea, as were some members.
The idea was strongly objected to, by a member, so it never happened. The problem was, how to keep the list, to one notification.
It would need careful setting up if were to be done. All that would be needed is name and date.
Doesn't really matter now. No point in attempting it unless people want it.
