Hi all hope your keeping well wonder if anyone can help, this might be one for stone.

I received a notice saying I had a new follower when I clicked on the name I became very suspicious I think its a old member who has caused problems on the site in the past.

How do you block these followers from following you on the site.

I looked at mine, I don't see any way of stopping a follower.

If you have concerns about a particular member report to HU.

Hi OM, I'm sure I remember something on the preference page of your profile that gives you the choice of allowing people to follow you. You can tick or untick as you wish . 🌷

You can change your setting and ALSO report to HU. [e-mail]

I don't like followers as it feels a bit creepy almost like stalking so I changed my settings ages ago.

Changed mine more or less at the start after I felt uncomfortable. Followers - funny name - makes me think of the old camp followers. Mind boggling.

I had a pm last night which confirmed my thoughts that this is a old member who likes to cause trouble so I cancelled all followers.

I had that happen recently, from a site I am no longer a member of, just ignored and no further notices received.

its sad when adults behave in this way and when we have been saddled with this illness we don't have time for people like this life is to short 👍

I personally have no problem with followers. & if I read a post from someone that has the same health condition that I do & from their posts I can tell that they are up to date with the health issues that long term bronchiectasis sufferers incur , then I follow them as I feel it is in some way a small band of members that have much to offer each other, by way of advice, information, comfort etc

I have never had a problem about anyone following me as I just assume thats because they do it for the same reasons that I do

I am the same I have no problem with followers. Sorry you got an unwanted PM from someone following you onamission.. Not all followers are like that.

hiv nottobad the pm was from a member it just confirmed who is is never had any problems with followers up to now and yes not all followers are the same
