Hiring oxygen cylinders and concentrator in the Algarve

Hi my friend needs oxygen with a concentrator 24/7, we've managed to get Ryanair to supply oxygen on the plane but need to hire in Portugal. We are going Luz in the Algarve has anyone experienced hiring oxy and equipment on where to get it from ?

Hi Phember did you have any luck with this? My mother is flying with me to Portugal tomorrow (to Luz also!) and ive arrived to find she is back on o2 overnight and hadn’t told me...so now desperately trying to find a concentrator. We have a portable one for the plane but need a continual flow one for in the house.

Hello Rizata3, you've replied to an old post here so the original poster may not see it.

You don't have much time! Stone's links above are very useful and you may find help there even though it's a Sunday.

I'd also suggest you put up your own post with your problem, so more members will read it and you'll hopefully get some fast and useful responses. If you include how many litres your mother needs overnight it might be helpful.

From my own experience, when I was first put on oxygen and using it overnight, I found my portable was adequate for that, and I used it whenever we were away from home (sometimes for four weeks at a time), but I was only on 1 litre so that may be no use to you. I kept it plugged in to the mains so it didn't run out.
