Hi uglysister, I was diagnosed with lc 3 and a half years ago and had surgery to remove it and so far, so good :). I found that waiting for all the tests and results was the most trying thing to cope with because the mind can go haywire imagining what the future holds. Hold on to that 'let's get on with it' attitude, it will get you through. Wishing you all the very best outcomes :) x

Hi Uglysister. Upsetting news but you are showing a strong outlook. This is a great supportive site and the people here have had their ups and downs which gives them an understanding attitude of what you are going through.

Stay strong and once the specialists have sorted out your treatment your energy can be directed positively.

Great attitude - the treatments for cancer are so advanced now it is no longer a death sentence - I had left lung lobectomy in 2008 (as well as having kidney removed for same thing - cancer). All tests/operations went through very quickly. Can't fault any of the staff, hospitals or treatment I received, so am sureyou'll get same. Stay positive. All very best wishes x

Hello Uglysis, 🌸 I would love to help you kick its butt!!! With your positive outlook and treatment and focus on wellness you'll have its measure. White sugar is bad stuff it feeds it as does red meat.I understand that eating a bit of coconut oil every day is essential. The PH levels in your body must be correct. Fresh lemons in good water every morning will keep your alkaline levels good. There is so much information out there and we are so lucky to be able to access it 😊 Sending you healing thoughts and wishes for wellness, huff xxx

I was told I had Lung Cancer 12 months ago thankfully I took it in my stride and tried not to worry my family were amazed at my reaction I will be 78 this year. I just took the advice my oncologist gave me and had the treatment he said he wanted me to have. I am pleased to say that after my last scan I saw him and he said he was very pleased there was no sign of the cancer only scarring which he expected (I had radiotherapy) so last Thursday when he told me I was thrilled in 5 months have to go and have another scan to monitor my lungs after that it will be every 12 months so keep your chin up .
