Anybody get really stiff painful locking back/hips with severe/end stage copd predominantly emphysema

As someone at the same stage I think sometimes we don't move enough, because of all the difficulties that entails, and can seize up a little. Perhaps you could try some gentle exercises?

Perhaps although I walk everywhere and try to use a exercise bike every day. 

Don't have major problem with stairs either just really slow.

Goodness knows just a horrible condition to contend with

Do you have Osteoarthritis? I do wonder if all the drugs we have to take brings it on faster.

Hmm I suppose that could be a possibility considering all the steroids and high doses of slo-phillin every day.

I never thought of that can it comes on farely quickly or is it a slow process?
