I don't know any way of getting rid of them, quick or otherwise, but make-up can help cover them.

You could try Arnica cream, any chemist will have it.🌸

Arnica gel is amazing Don't use on broken skin tho. I buy mine from QVC Kath

Tincture of Arnica, or Witch hazel on a cotton wool ball and brush gently across the area. Both of these will help heal and reduce the pain. They do this be helping to bring the damaged blood cells to the surface of the skin where they can be shed more quickly.

I think witch hazel brings the bruises out quicker so they go quicker

Arnica cream's the magic potion! All chemists sell it or health food shops. You'll be amazed by it.

Unfortunately I don't think there is. I Haven't found anything and I've tried the creams from the pharmacy, they don't work, don't waste your money. I've also tried Arnica and that didn't do much to help either.

My skin bruises easily due to the Steroids I sometimes need to take for my COPD.

I've always bruised easily and am constantly getting more on my church organ bench. I find arnica halves the time I have the bruising afterwards.

If the bench is causing you bruises...pad the bench with a cushion etc...several piano players take theirs with them. If it the stool legs, then go to a plumbers store and get the insulating pipe sleeves, they can be slipped over the stool legs and braces to give some protection ( some cutting to size / trimming will be needed. Hope that helps .

Unfortunately I keep catching my legs on the corners of the bench as I get on and off during services - not as athletic as I used to be. A cushion would be a disaster as I could zoom off the bench when using the foot pedals - it's been known to happen even if the bench has been cleaned with a duster with a bit of polish on :-) . I need to look for some little sticky things I can put on the corners.

I agree with the other comments. Arnica cream or gel, but yiu have to keep reapplying every couple of hours.

Arnica is good. My grandma used to use butter!

Arnicare ointment really does help - my husband uses it regularly. Particularly good is you know you are likely to get a bruise - ie you have knocked your hand and use it before the bruise. You can buy it at Chemists. Good luck xx

I have tried all the different creams you can think of and none will get rid of the bruises you will just have to let them heal themselves eventually

Hello the-db, sadly bruises will fade in their own time,,,,they are form of internal bleeding,,just under the skin,,,then as the blood breaks down that is when they start to disperse,,change colour and eventually go,,

Arnica cream or gel helps with bruises,, nelson's is one make of this cream,,,, also try witch hazel on cotton wool discs,,this needs doing a few times during the day,,,hope something proves helpful,,ttfn from Karen.
