Their good at talking rubbish wish I'd seen it.

I'm recording it & have just tuned in kazz....though almost too angry to concentrate! I don't get pip but this attack on disabled people is utterly repugnant. It is, unfortunately, typical of this government, especially since the coalition with the LibDems ended.

in reply to

Not only that they are going to make it harder yet again to get pip by cutting points off the system, well to be honest I think when I get assessed again and the health professional comes round, I will lay on my back on the floor and tell her I can't do F all excuse my French, what gets me is to look at me I look normal but disability is not always visible on the outside, x

when I had my assessment I more or less did just that. I made a mockery of trying to stand up to lift my feet up. When I went for my Blue Badge I flatly refused to go with the assessor for a walk. I told her I needed my breath to breath not to struggle doing their silly tests. I got the Badge and the PIP.

morning Stillstanding63,

I never had a problem getting my BB all I done was filled out the form online sent a pic, £10 and that was it, as for my pip I got that 2nd time around but already had my BB for a few months before, but this carryon now with pip and it being altered again, I think they are just trying to put people off claiming it , it will also cause a massive backlog again, maybe they should not have let so many enter this country as they are milking the NHS and sending the money back to there country don't get me wrong I feel sorry for these people but enough is enough,, at our local hospital waiting time in A n E used to be only like 2 hrs before you are seen now it's 4 hrs just to many people on the NHS list now xx

in reply to

I had a BB for 16 years. At my last renewal theydecided that I needed an assessment to keep it! B......s!

Bloody lier !!!!! I'm going to have to turn it off, my blood pressure is rocketing, then again it's hard to turn our backs to danger, and this is dangerous to our well being 😡

It's an absolute disgrace! There are no words strong enough to describe what they're doing to those in need! 🌺

If you are rich you have to pay less tax and be paid more in order to work harder, if you are poor, disabled crippled up with RA, MS, Parkinson's, server mental health issues etc you have to be paid less, have money that enables you to be taken away in order to work harder, how does that work?

In answer to your question medow,

"Just how do the Tories get away with it? Since they were founded as a modern political force in 1834, the Conservatives have acted as the parliamentary wing of the wealthy elite. When I was at university, a one-time very senior Tory figure put it succinctly at an off-the-record gathering: the Conservative Party, he explained, was a "coalition of privileged interests. Its main purpose is to defend that privilege. And the way it wins elections is by giving just enough to just enough other people"."

They also pander to the ignorant and pretend they are the party which hates immigration, when the truth is they let far more in than Labour ever did! Unfortunately too many people are taken in by this and vote for them only on this basis. x

Hi Toci, I am just reading Owen Jones book The Establishment. and how they get away with it.

Does my breathing and stress levels no good but I am persevering .

I am one of the stroppy baby boomers who saw so much change in the 1960s.....there was an anti establishment movement then, but they have fought back and I feel more and more powerless.

My late mother got a letter from her consultant, but of course that costs money. The Citizens Advice Bureaux helped fill the form in.

I hope your mum gets it this time.
