Ok I have copd for over two years now then I get diagnosed with fibromyalgia and to top it off I've now got a chest infection 😔

Bless you, you are really having a tough time at the moment, take it easy and fight off that infection and hopefully you'll start to feel a lot better x

Hi 3pinks I know how you are feeling I have COPD and recently been dx with PsA. And since dx my breathing has got worse. Have you got medication for the chest infection. Take care and I hope it clears up soon x

Hello 3pinks,

You really are down in the dumps today. Drink plenty of water (my cure all) take your rescue pack, keep warm, get your feet up with a good book or just watch the birds, a box of tissues and a plastic bag, and hopefully you will feel a little brighter as the days go on. What a shame the sun has not come out today - it always makes you feel brighter.

Thanks Jennifer thankfully I have the sun today which is a bonus I here a lot of talk about rescue pack but don't have one or know much about them I guess I'm to make it x

Your rescue pack comprises anti-biotic and prednisolone. You get this from your surgery and keep it in case you succumb to something nasty again. I think you already have this - as per your reply to diesel 14 hours ago.

Hi have just read your comment, you have asked can it get any worse yes it can and that's being very honest with you, but it also depends on how your mind works too, your have very good days and some not so good days but that's life anyway you take the rough with the smooth, get some hobbys I wish you well and your not on your own

Hi Lynn45 I've taken up art therapy colouring it gives you relaxation techniques as well as the colouring just feel frustrated today can't feel fingers very much can't hold poxy pens lol

There is a fibromyalgia ste on Healthunlocked which is very active. I had 12 points on me that suggested fibromyalgia but then the GP decided it was not? But my osteoarthritis and gout?

I was lucky enough to see a pain consultant at a different hospital who actually just let me tell Jim what was going on etc he listened which was amazing as found on many occasions consultants have made up there mind before you even see them

I have COPD which is basically under control EXCEPT when I get a chest infection. I feel like it will never end, and I will never ever stop coughing. But then it does end, and the cough does go away. Take care.
