Hi all I'm new too this (today) I was told by my doc I'd got emphysema or possibly worse still waiting for doc too review my blow in a machine test I was just wondering apart from give up smoking what else can help me

Can you ask to be referred to pulmonary rehablitation .

It is exercise and education course two hour twice a week for six weeks.

Once completed you will have all the knowledge on our to manage your condition and lead a comfortable life. At a slower pace.

I have severe COPD and Emphysema and agree with stone that Pulmonary Rehab will provide all you need to know about this illness and how to live the best you can. In the mean time get what exercise you are capable of doing and eat healthily and rest and pace yourself. We can mange this illness and enjoy a quality of life but for me it took time and patience. Best of luck.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a must as far as I am concerned the first time I went on it, it helped me understand the best way of dealing with my lung conditions.

Unfortunately I have multi-conditions that have worsened my health and cannot do PR anymore

Does anybody know is its still harmful too smoke a vape pen I've got my patch on and haven't had a fag now for 4 days (good me ) lol just wondered if anybody knew

When I stopped I just used the e cig I think you using both might be dangerous there is a quit site on HU type quit in the search bar at the top of the page and click on quit they will be able to help you
