Peanuts and IPF?
There's a possibility of a food intolerance, which could show itself in a variety of ways. My late husband Bob who had COPD and asthma, used to get a swollen belly with cows milk, breathlessness with bleached flour, and warts on his hands from eggs.
It has been found that peanuts allergy seems to have a link to asthma in children?
Gosh you are very young to be diagnosed with IPF,are you on pirfenidone,I eat nuts, not peanuts much but I love salted cashews and Brazil nuts,I don't have a problem, most IPF sufferers also can have reflux,in fact at the moment I am told no transplant ,but I am going to have some tests this week at Papworth as I am now told my oesphagus is useless,IPF seems to have complications,I do hope you are in mild stage ,sending you best wishes, you should join our group on Pulmonary Fibrosis UK on facebook,we are about 2000 members and the support is wonderful.Sooki
