Hope you all had a good weekend. Anyone do anything fun, or try something new or different? We took a ride to the beach. Being in new Jersey, so did everyone else!
Between the traffic and all the people, we were glad to come home. At least we enjoyed eating out. It's still really hot here,
but the humidity is not as bad.
So I was wondering what you all do to relax. Everyone has something that helps them calm down and unwind. I like to read, watch TV, go on pinterest, and do jigsaws. Just recently have started coloring. Its the new thing to relax you. Plus I love walking. How about you?

Not been a good summer here Ruby but a sunny day yesterday. I enjoy walking with Dave & Ollie, TV and films. I have been really into Humans and it finished last night. Audio books, currently, The Swan Thieves, music, our retirement club outings, lunches out, picnics, chilling in the garden with red wine. The internet, I used to paint but I don't really have the storage room now. Love Margaret x
Sounds like you have many relaxing pastimes and they all sound great. Is Humans a tv show? I don't believe we have it here. Whats it about? I'm Going To have To Get me A Bottle Of Red Wine today! Whats your favorite? You and velvet are making me want some red wine π
I'm reviving an old pastime - working full time. First day today and so going well so far. Just for 2 weeks until I move so it will give me time to work out if I can return on a permenant basis.
My bank manager hopes I can return!
And time will tell. After a few weeks I wane and feel exhausted so will see how this goes.
How did your first day back go for you? Sounds like the bank manager really likes you! Thats always a good thing. So your moving near by where you live now? I wish you good luck with both. ππ
Nice chair, TV, Kindle, phone, computer and when the weather cools down knitting. Also plan to try watercolour painting. Just have to get a protective tablecloth. Plus there is always the boring old domestic chores. So no time to be bored.
Very relaxing and cozy. No red wine for our Dozy? I've always wanted to try knitting. Painting sounds good too. You know how to relax. I'm very anxious and have alot of trouble calming down.
Loved the photo of the cat - I had one like it once. Besides playing keyboard and organ, one of my relaxing pastimes is collecting postcards. I have thousands of them, some bought as I visited places, others bought by the thousand in auction lots. I collect pictures of places, and like to compare pictures of the same place over time. The messages on the used cards can also be very funny, and sometimes very poignant, as in the message from a son to his father in WW1, both of them on the front line - when we checked the records, the son died three weeks later.
Good to hear from you. Cool hobby you have. I collect anything and everything with cats on it. I've been meaning to tell you about my fitbit. I love it! Funny thing is, due to my job, I am doing 10,000 steps! Here I was envying people that walked a couple miles a day, and I'm doing it already! Didn't even know it.
