I had surgery for a dislocated elbow last December, apart from warning my husband and myself I may not come out of it because I have severe COPD stage 4, I had a bad chest infection due to the intubation. I was immobile for a month as I also had a fractured pelvis, I put the decline in my breathing down to that but it may have been the intubation, but after a course of pulmonary rehab I have improved. Keep smiling

I had surgery in 2009 I've not been the same since, went in 27th dec came home 16th jan spent 5 days in icu cant walk very far have put on loads of weight, spend most of my time at home
