Well done you. That song brought back memories and you can't help but sing along. I'm going to add this to my list of thing achieved today. Thanks for that

Well done GJ, It not only helps our breathing control but gives you a lift at the same time. We both achieved something and all thanks to a bit of American Pie. :) , glad you enjoyed it.

hi tony well done again, I used do a lot of singing at karaokes, but that was after a few pints of dutch courage lol.

To right Tam, I would only sing after a few pints but now I know its good for us then that has changed things. All I needed for this is some home made apple and mango and I was still mad enough to hit the post button. :) .

I blame everything on a shortage of oxygen to the brain these days.

Hi Dall

Please forgive me for not watching your video at this time.

I am going to do my warm up exercises, prepare a strong drink, slip into something more comfortable and get something to use as a microphone.

I'm there with you Dall. Ready to join in. You are an inspiration.

I'm going to get limbered up and join you in this fight.

Hi Skrs, I like the mood setting, in my minds eye I can see it all :) . Have fun with it like I did and together we will rock ourselves fit.

Were in a fight all right and one we must win so anything that gives you an edge is worth a go right.

Wow Tony you did very well there. What a great song and I sang along with you. Couldn't get Pete to join in though which is just as well as he is tone deaf! Lovely hearing you sing - you are an inspiration and Dozy Dormouse too.

You take care and keep singing. xxx

dall05 in reply tosassy59

Hi sassy, glad I got you singing although Pete may not agree. Hey you could sing it while he humms it, he doesn't have to worry about being tone deaf does he after hearing my voice. :) .

Me and Dozy are ICU survivors and both spent a little time on the very edge, your right she is an inspiration as well as a drain on the oxygen reserves. :) .

Trust me Tony, you don't want to hear Pete hum either - cannot hold a tune! Bless him.

You take care, keep singing and exercising those lungs.

Carole he could try an instrument like the bag pipes, they would be good lung exercise. Ha Ha.

That should clear the lungs and the neighborhood :)

Ahh! Tony. I love that song. You did very well to sing it right through. x

dall05 profile image
dall05 in reply toMavary

Its just as well I chose the shorter version of the song as my lungs were running out of steam along with the rest of me, as you could probably hear. Its all about the exercise though with a bit of fun thrown in for good measure.

Glad you liked it Mavis, have you got any cruises booked for this year?

Just a three day one this year. We are going on a Maiden Cruise on The Anthem of the Seas. I believe my Daughter in Law is booking something else for next year. X

Off pitch more like, but then its all about the lungs and having some fun en' it. :) . Does Simon do charity cases now then? Ha Ha.

I wonder if they transplant the voice box when they do your lungs, hope so eh'. :) .

Loved it! You are an inspiration and it is great to sing along with you. Xris

Thanks for the sing-a-long Tony. I just about know that song word for word. I used to be a good singer but tend not to sing in front if anyone nowadays. I sound out of tune and squawky. You can still belt em out. x

dall05 profile image
dall05 in reply toSusieQs

Not sure about belting them out, my neighbors probably want me to belt up Ha Ha.

The main thing is to give your lungs a work out and not worry to much about how it sounds. Glad I got you singing Susie, now keep it up. :)
