Good Luck
Lots of love TAD xx
I went 4 an assessment & the healthcare assistant had reported that i could do this that & other which were'nt even asked of me. I was awarded no points so did a mandatory regulation which again went against me so am now waiting reply of my review. They say the interview is'nt biased but how about them being truthful. Good luck with ur interview
Hi they more or less ask you questions that was on form you filled in just tell them about what your like on your worst day lay it on thick tell them more about what you can't do say very little about what you can do also take someone with you for support they can tell them things they help you with

Hi , just try to remember that they are only looking for point scoring. They will assess you on the interview only . So if you have trouble getting dressed , because it makes you tired and breathless tell them that it does. As well as mobility, if you are in chest pain or breathless when you walk you must tell them that. That is what they look for. If you have difficulty with any aspect of your day because of breathlessness , tell them in every answer. And don't stress. More than 66% of all appeals are overturned . So if the result is not what you want to hear. Appeal and get your local CAB to help you . They are great. Got my pip last week. Good luck
Hi what's CAB. I have Bronchiectasis and Aspergillus. I am 61 year's old. Had Bronchiectasis since I was 17 years old. Diagnosed with Aspergillus last August. I wish I knew more about Aspergillus.

Thanks for the advice, Tad, Tam & m1
Also benefitsandwork.co.uk have good info re the assessments
Do not do things that you cannot do even if they ask you to try. Never say on a good say on a Better day. Wear clothes that are easy to put on not to impress. Silly things like slip on shoes over ones with buckles/laces will show dexterity. Make a list of all the aids you have. I was amazed how many I have now that I take for granted. I would try and go with someone to act as a witness/support and confirm what was said was said.
Good Luck
I've recently had mine, tell the truth, don't put a brave face on, take someone with you if you can. Mine was fine, try not to worry about it!
Make sure you take some one with you and tell them about your bad days and any aids you have like Zimmer frame sticks any think put in place for your bathroom to help you get in and out of the bath or to help get off to let any hand rails any think that helps you in the kitchen like any think to help you open jar or tins or you to sit on and about if you can cook a meal or not if you can go out on your own if you can on busses good luck x
