Morning Ruby, well a family/friends barbecue tomorrow though i must admit to not being a fan of big events these days, getting old!!! How about you, anything planned? Enjoy your weekend. xx
We're having a quiet weekend. Puttering around the house. One day out of the weekend we'll be taking a drive to Delaware. Just to get away. We like to try out different diners, in places we've never been. Its fun and relaxing. You didn't answer my second question. Whats your favorite Holiday and why? Sorry your not looking forward to the barbecue.
You'll probably enjoy it once you get there.

Very little planned Ruby, we may go for a pic-nic but Dave is planning gardening jobs, so he won't want to go far. My favourite holiday of all time, was staying in St Kitts and visiting Nevis. Everything was out of our experience, it was lovely, very rhythmic life style and of course by the sea.
love Margaret x
Hello Ruby,π I will be staying home and if it doesn't rain I'll be gardening and playing with Max, he's grown a lot in the last couple of weeks and he's been very cuddly and a good boy, I'll post a picture of him sometime today.
Might get a visit from the Grandkids as they have a week off school. What are your plans? Hope you have a great weekend, hugs huff xxxxxxxππππ
Hi Huff
your just loving Max to bits!
I don't blame you π. And we get to watch him grow too! Along with your beautiful garden.π
You didn't say what your favorite Holiday is and why. I answered to Shiela what we're doing for the weekend. Quiet for us too.
Fine by me.ππ

Hi Ruby, I have only been home to Ireland for holidays, the last time I had a holiday abroad I was about 13 years old! My Mum, Aunty and Uncle , by brothers and cousins spent a whole summer by the mountains of Madrid, it was the happiest time ever!!!
I'd love to visit the cork woods in Portugal one day π huff xxxxxx
My daughter is moving house today, I have not been yet so will go this afternoon when everything has been moved in.
My favourite holiday was the second time I went to Spain when the children were young and I had learned to swim, it was wonderful no more sitting on the beach looking after everything for me.
Have a good weekend
polly xx
Spent a year travelling the US from Niagra to San francisco 1989 to 1990. It was the most amazing holiday and something I'd love to do again in a big Winnebago. Every state was so unique. My favourite place was Tombstone and Boot Hill but it was all awsome. We are both avid sightseers and love driving. Got lost off road in Texas which scared the hell out of us but otherwise. loved the South and West coast.
You've got one great country Ruby.

Thanks Sara
You've seen more of it than I have! Did you go to n.y.? I would like to go to Texas and calif. A winnebago sounds good. Visiting each state. Why don't I do that??
Will add it to my bucket list for sure βΊ

Nothing too exciting Ruby but have daughter and grandson round soon. Just taking things easy this weekend. What are you up to? Something good I hope.
We used to like to go away to Menorca and took the kids there often as well as just the two of us in later years. It is very family friendly and not too large an Island so easy to get around. Happy memories of a wonderful place. xxxxx
Having a quiet weekend. Have you any Memorial Day events planned? Went to one for my friends dad a few years ago. It was a very touching ceremony. Have been over to them for several visits, just wish I could go again!!!! Have a great weekend xx
I love your country Ruby and have been many times. My favourite State is Az., I'd live there tomorrow, given the chance.
The best I ever had was a few years ago when I flew to Phoenix. hired a car and started by driving down to the Mexican border. Stayed in a Oro valley for a couple of days and visited all my fantasy places that I've longed to see -Tombstone, OK corral etc., Then I went from there up to Monument Valley in Utah, stopping at a different place each night. Stayed in Kayenta so I could go through the valley at my leisure, I was hoping to ride through on a horse, but it was out of season and couldn't find anyone to hire from. Came back via different route and went to Canyon De Chelly and the Petrified Forest amongst other places. The overall trip was nearly 2000 miles and the most wonderful experience of my life. I did it all on my own and I'd do it again if I could.
Fabulous!
I think I was born in the wrong place in the wrong century? Lol.
