Re lung coils for Kimmy
Hi Kimmy , I had lung valves last year ,9 in total, and have had a pretty good result, after having phumonia, just afterwards held me back a bit but dare I say picking up well now and I am on a pulmonary reablement course, my sats are still quite low but the consultant is not worried about this, and I can do a lot more, so yes good result, just had the left lung done, and hopefully, having the right done in the summer, if I can help in any way send me a private message .
Thanks Kimmy. I asked at Freeman hosp about them there do them there. Will Prob be assessed at next visit I don't know hoe to send private message ! Kath x
Hi Pat and Graham. I've typed in both emphysema and asthma. Both say page no longer exists. Kath x
I have read your posts about vit A Started taking it about a month ago. Realise it will take a long time to show any improvement. I'm thinking about Lung valves ( not coils ) Glad your wife had good result so far. Kath
Thank you. I did find the page. I'm not very technical. Use iPhone or iPad as I can't use PC. it's Good your doctor is listening. It would be great if vit A was given routinely to all COPD sufferers. It's inexpensive and could be of great benefit. Thank you for your reply. I will follow your posts. Take care. Kath
