I read this morning about a a road accident between a lorry load of Tortoises and a lorry carrying Terrapins the police said its a Turtle Disaster. boom boom. Keep smiling xxFred

"Good!! Morning to you Fred..Hehehehe! i found your joke so funny....Thinking to myself.. as if....But!! Hahahaha!... Having said that... It reminded me that many years ago i worked for the RSPCA...and worked at that particular time alongside the RSPCA inspectors... who attended many a police incident regarding animals.... ie... cattle trucks colliding with other vehicles, and scattering the poor cattle ..sometimes it could have been sheep..But this one time it was Guess WHAT!!! a truck carrying all kinds of animals from a collector's home to a private Zoo..There where all kinds of animals ranging from parrots..African crowned crested cranes...monkeys..various kinds..arctic foxes..far to many to write..... But!! wait for it....Tortoises...at least 100 if not more.most where crushed by on coming traffic....as this was on a Motorway, and the traffic was driving so fast...we was able to catch and rescue a few the animals..was a sad day.But thats what working for the RSPCA was like it could be very rewarding..But also very, very sad..the reason for my little tale was a short little trip down memory lane....hope you are doing okay Fred.. Megan enjoyed that, pleased it brought back memories for you albeit some a bit sad. Yes Megan I am hanging in there still waiting to see what my next treatment will be, but I wake up each morning so that keeps me happy. Keep smiling lovely lady xx Fred
