Cant belive given her symtoms doc's did not surspect sepsis thats classic hall mark and given she's girl i would thought doc's would been on ball.
Is very sad at her needless loss
Hi Daz, I agree it is a terrible waste of a life.
Hospitals here are trained to be aware of sepsis. It is just over a year when I was diagnosed with the symptoms of sepsis....high temperature, low blood pressure, sickness and then shock caused by an infection....I had never felt so ill even when I had pneumonia years ago.
I was treated quickly with intravenous antibiotics, luckily my daughter was with me when I went into shock and rang 999
Hi knitter Cheers thanks for reply.
Yes we all have to be vigilant ... I to had sepsis even had rash on shoulder I just put down to clothes or friction
Is very sad how it can be prevented but people are needlessly still dieing
So terribly sad ,that something curable went undetected and took this young life
Absolutely tragic. M x
