Hi all, been a few weeks since I last spoke to you all.
Been on Holiday with the family for two weeks in Holland, fantastic place to visit and the Holiday resort was superb.
Came back and flew out to Kuwait for a week on business, now remember I have stage 1 bullous emphysema. Before I went I met with my doctor and asked about flying, he said since my FEV1% is good at 81% I will be ok for flying. He did say because of the bullous side of things I'm a little bit of a higher risk than others to have collapse lung (hemathorax thingy).
I did ask if I should fly, he said yes and I should not be put off flying. Funny though, he said it's the take off and landing I should watch as this is due to cabin pressure and could cause the collapse lung thing, well I did try put it out my head and not think about it while the plane was thundering up the run way at full speed lol.
All was fine, I'm still here and had no issues what so ever (than the big man up stairs).
Still hate flying though.
