Oxygen and Cruises
Hi
Speak to the cruise company,
You may have to hire a transportable concentrator,

You will also have to speak your respitory nurse to confirm suitability, and provide proof of oxygen requirements .
You should maybe bear in mind that a cruise ship is a pretty hostile environment for the spread of bugs and viruses. Don't want to be a killjoy, but think of all of the recent onboard epidemics !
Hi Seona I am on 24/7 oxygen I love Cruising it is so easy and hassle free. I hire a concentrator for the cabin and liquid oxygen for moving around, it is not cheap but is well worth it
i think its sad that the cruise ships wont accept NHS Oxygen. We have to hire this and it costs the earth about 75.00 + VAT. Disabled should get the vat off. I think us disabled people can hard done to having to book early to get a disabled cabin then miss out on all the onboard spend they offer later on. There must be something else that can be done to offer this service at a better rate for us.
