Was feeling fine, thought I'd clean the sofa. Thank you very much Lord Sheraton leather wipes I now know to steer clear.

Does anyone here take a note of what triggers their breathing problems or just stay clear of all household products?

Yes I use Ecover products, otherwise it happens all the time, sets off lung attach in me, I can't bear soap powders people use, kill me, Ecover everything. Ruins the whole day. Unfortunately there are some companies that should be shut down, environmentally unsafe for animal and human .!!

Nearly everything with a perfume or strong smell effects me, I try to stay clear but it's not always possible.

My wife gave her perfume to our daughter because it wrecks me. I gave my daughter a lift last week when she got in it nearly choked me and she says " oh is that why mummy gave me her perfume"

I found most household products affected my breathing especially anything in a spray bottle including deodorants. I now use roll on deodorants and have bought a hand held steam cleaner( about 35 pounds from Argos) and that has been a godsend. It works on steam alone and doesn't need any cleaning products. I have used it on kitchens cupboards.work tops .its brilliant on wall tiles and cooker hobs. I intend to use it soon in the bathroom and up to now it hasn't affected my breathing,in fact if anything it has improved my breathing

Hi Nice

I have problems with sprays especially Mr Muscle. I don't normally get affected by wipes though. I think the steam cleaner idea is a good one. Hope you find something that works for you.

Kind regards

Patty
