We have one in Taunton,(Maybe after my op)The nurses have been asking me to go,as they go on trips and its good knowing you are no different ,and if you get breathless they are there to help and they all understand...Good luck hun xxxxx

My husband started to go after he was introduced at Pulmonary Rehab - once a month and he has enjoyed it. You are right meeting people who are suffering with the same sort of problems makes you feel much less isolated. He has had some good trips out too!! I would recommend you try it! Take care, TAD xxx

Firework, tadaw, thankyou for feed back this is what I thought, it could be a social thing, I'm going to dig the phone number out and go for it take care.

I went to mine a few times and it is good to meet others who are suffering lung diseases too. There are only around a dozen who go though and I find them cliquey and not very friendly. So haven't been since last year. Might start again...or see if there is another one here I could try. x

I'm off to my BreatheEasy group this afternoon, it's line dancing today, I can't do that because I have a bad ankle but it's lovely to see all the friends that I've made there.

I'm Secretary of our Breathe Easy Group in Bury-St.-Edmunds. We meet at Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, B.S.E. on the last Thursday in the month at 1.30 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. So we meet this Thursday, 29th. Anyone interested in meeting people with similar ailments come along and join a really friendly group of people. Our speaker will be Dr. Linda Pearce, Respiratory Consultant at West Suffolk Hospital, so hope to see you there if you're in the area. You can contact me for more information through the website. Take care Lizzy.
