Hi siestasue, I also have a steroid inhaler which is called Flutiform, I find a lot of people are on seretide. I haven't found anyone yet on Flutiform. I have been on this since last September, and from what I can gather is a new drug. I seem to be fine on it. Fingers crossed. Nannyb xx

I have been given FOSTAIR ,but I haven't tried it yet. It is a combination steroid and bronchodilator...not many people on this site seem to use it. I tried symbicort in the past by put it did not agree with me. At the moment I am using Clenil which is a steroid as well as 5mg prednisolone.

Have you had any problems with the FOSTAIR?

I was on Fostair for quite a long time. Never had any problems or concerns with it. It worked well. Then they decided to take me off it for some reason and since then have been moved from one medication to another....none of which work as well as Fostair did.

I wondered could it be money. But have just googled and it is apparently 20% cheaper than symbicort and sere tide

I too was on Fostair (yes - it is a combo inhaler) for quite a few years and have recently been swapped to a symbicort turbohaler (dry powder) but during the whole time I have also been on Spiriva as well.

Hope this helps.

So do I...it really worked wonders for me after the first three or so weeks.

Brian...did your post mean you are on fostair? I ask because if you are do you really think it took 3 or so weeks to take effect? I have been on this for 2 weeks.

Same too me I've been on beclomasone For about two weeks. But I've had asthma since I was a kid so I'm used to inhalers but never used steroids before now.
