Hi, I'm a 30 year old (soon to be 31) y o woman, and I have just been diagnosed with A1Antitrypsin Deficiency, so I'm learning all about it

I am getting over the shock of it all, but also helping my family to learn about it and how it will affect me and what help is available.

Thankyou for your quick reply. ;-) I have no children yet, and my partner is going to see his Dr about being tested also. My Dr is also arranging for me to go and see a genetic counsellor to. :-)

I went to see a lung specialist December I asked him about this I always thought my mom had it but he said it was highly unlikely but mom could of been a carrier I do hope you find some support I wish you all the very best
