Been on 6 day course of steroids after few days struggling for breath. I feel great at the moment been out walking past 3 days .Wil it last
Steroids are odd little beasts. They can give you, as the Blur song goes ' a sense of enormous wellbeing'. Whether this will last is difficult to tell but they are obviously working in terms of reducing inflammation and allowing you to breathe easier and walk better. Maybe if you stay exacerbation free then you retain this or you may drop to a level slightly below. Sorry that probably hasn't helped!

The first time I used prednislone I was completely hyped up and couldn't stop cleaning! I had to ask my GP to take me off them,
I never take them for very long these days and when I come off them I go backwards a bit - but am not as bad as I was before I took them. Hope that makes sense!
Ii am same with cleaning could not stop it was doing my head in and everbody else,s ha ha

dantheman.... you made me smile. I've been on prednisalone 30mg for two weeks now and I did some ironing myself yesterday. ( This is unusual for me )... must be catching.
