Struggling Again

God there are times I hate my body, why does it think it is a good idea to wake up at 0300 every day since I came out of hospital, struggling to breath and decided it is now a good time to get rid of the gunk on the chest. One other thing It will not let me back to sleep now. May as well take my morning nebulisers. Morning peoples.xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Poor you 4 am everyday for me. I've been struggling all week. So so breathless and a cold but so far no infection.

Morning lovely! What a miserable time to wake up. When my husband is ill that is the sort of time he wakes up and then is up for the rest of the night. Hope the nebuliser did its job and helped you. Hope you have a better day. Take good care, TAD xxx

Horrid for you berwick, hope you begin to feel better soon, I'm having a reprieve from waking at that time at the moment, but if I do I'll come hear to see if others are awake, x

Hope you are feeling better today Berwick, I know how u feel, if it's not me being short of breath, it's wanting to go the toilet to pee at least three times a night so if I am not out of breath when I get out of bed I am short of breath by the time I get back in bed and the nights are so long when we can't sleep wrap up well and keep warm berwick x

Join the club Berwick. My Husband woke at four o clock. I was getting his Oramorph a hot drink and his oxygen. I hadn't gone to sleep till one thirty and I had a job to go back after I was woken. I got up at eight fifteen to phone the surgery. we had the Practice Nurse come in today. She has prescribed yet more antibiotics. I think he is going to turn into one. Poor thing has had three nights of coughing when he is laid down. I don't mind getting out for him but I am tired today. It's annoying that nothing really works.

Oh sorry to hear this Mavary. Hope he improves soon. Best wishes to you both. I don't suppose he likes to keep you awake. I always feel guilty when I cough all night and keep my husband awake. Touch wood I only seem to get an infection once a year.

Hi Suzy6 I don't mind. I'm just tired. I had to out to get him more antibiotics and get my hair cut. I was a bit worried driving as you are not at your best when you are tired. X

Hi Suzy6. I am half asleep still. I had a good night last night. About eight hours. Due to a little white tablet. Mike slept well as well. It is nine twenty and he is still not up. It will probably do him good. I was up at eight thirty. I didn't go to sleep till twelve thirty mind. I had the hair cut but it always takes me a few days before it goes how I like it. It does feel better though. I went to the chemist to get the meds before I had it done. They said they didn't have one of the prescriptions that was supposed to have gone down to them. I went back up to the Doctors and after a few minutes they said they had sent it down. So I went back to the chemist and they had another look around. They then did find it. Anyway by then I had to get my hair done and didn't have time for them to look it up. So I went on to get my hair done. I had to go back after to pick it up. Hah! What a drama. Eventually I got home. Saturday today. You have a good day. X
