The juice of one lemon, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/2 pint boiling water. Stir well and drink warm. Cut through all the gunk, soothes the throat and the cough is easy. Taste good as well.

Hi Scrobbles, the lemons should be reserved solely for use in Yates's Blobs. Yate's Australian white wine, which is a mixture of white wine and brandy (about £7 a bottle), sugar, lemon slice, fill up with hot water. OR my favourite, sugar, lemon and fill up with lemonade and microwave, about 45 secs but keep checking as it can get very hot. But never drink more than two, strange things can happen!!! Sadie xxx

Gosh yes, I remember it well ! Choccy by the bucket load Dorothy as shock, horror, chocolate is giving me horrendous heartburn at the moment............ am in deep, deep mourning but have resorted to Viennese Whirls for the much needed calories and so far, so good !

Fresh lemonade. Mmm! Lemon meringue, lemon cake. Keep some in the shed or garage out of the way from frost they will last quite a while. Im sure there is a lot more you can do with them.

Mmm! Who were you thinking of donating to. You could get someone to sell them at a market. Or give them to a hospital or Hospice. Maybe even a school. It's a few things to think about. All the children at a school would eat lemon meringue pie made with your lemons.
