iv got a pain in the right side of my cheast got a bad cought and hurts a little when i breath when i lie on my right side n when i lie down straight have to be like sitting up to sleep so need a little bit of advice plz xx

Hi Karliemillington. Sounds like you may need to see a Dr. Or maybe ring The BLF. It may be nothing or it may be you have an infection. I would check it out.

Hi Karlie,I have the same thing but in my left side,went to dr on Friday,it's pleurisy ,you will need antibiotics,pain killers will help with the pain.

Hi Karlie, best see the doc, they can hear when listening to your chest if it's pleurisy (I get it, always in the same place). You mustn't mess about with your lungs, they've go to last you a very long time. You've probably got a chest infection too. While you're at docs enquire about flu jab or get one at Boots - a very worthwhile investment. Take care

Hello, I too have had a very sharp pain in my right side of chest, and my doctor is sending me for an xray this week , it could be pleurisy, which does need treating with antibiotics, so you should see your doctor asap. I wish you well.
