Hi longsie, it's great init ? Was watching someone smoking today, and it really is such an odd thing to do, I'm coming up the time when the addiction starts playing tricks on me , going to need lots of distractions, and do the one hour at a time thing, I feeling well at the moment, not needing ventelin so much, sleeping better, beginning to look a bit better too, should keep re reading my words over the next couple of weeks, so very pleased your are doing so well x x x

longlungs profile image
longlungs in reply tomedow

Hey medow was talking about you saying exactly that >You have made my day you really have well done init brill arnt we super splashing,i know you can do this medow as you say hour at a time at the mo for you thats cool what ever works for you eh,?Yes my nose is something else at the mo would make a good sniffer dog lol. When it gets iffey come on here talk first coz that moment will pass, believe i have had some serious moments.yesterday was hard for me,so i typed up one of my dreams on here,it was quite long and i was fairly bossed eyed by the time i finished. It defo helped me to get through last night which is a hot spot for me.in the evenings. This time break that habit of 3 weeks pleeease. Also what better way to start these months with clear lungies.I can get to the loo before thinking about my ventolin first.:) everyone here is supporting you ,you know that.Anyway i wont keep on.Soso happy your still doing it.Janexx

Medow, one of the very pleasing aspects of stopping smoking was that I regained my colour, and instead of looking quite pasty (grey) I had a lovely pink bloom to my cheeks! Another plus! x

Medow. Blooming well done you, you're brilliant xx

Well done to all those who are fighting the dreaded weed. Keep on that's great. When I gave up smoking Toci after about 2 months I was just giving myself a final look see before heading off the work and my face looked different! I couldn't puzzle it out for a few seconds then I realised my face, instead of being grey, had turned pink again I couldn't believe it and went off to work on a high..

Toci in reply to

Yep, me too! I also noticed the lines around my lips reduced and others commented on how much shinier my hair became. Lots to be said for being smoke-free. x
