that is good news. When we lived in Leicestershire the paramedics always insisted on taking hubby to the nearest hospital which was in Staffordshire and the facilities were not as good
That is a shame, but that is the paramedics doing what they were told SecondLife

For those who are not familiar with Glenfield, it is a lovely cottage style hospital, with good respiratory facilities all on ground floor, easily accessible from the motorways by car, in the middle of the country. However it is a difficult journey if you are ill by public transport, and patient transport is not available to many.Maybe soon other hospitals will feel the need to open units for respiratory care on similar style to Glenfield including research units which we need badly.
