Hi all, I had an afternoon out in the sun at Pershore plum festival. Yes there are plenty of plums for sale but there is so much more. There was lots of free venues where you could sit and watch various singers ranging from an ABBA tribute band to Folk or Caribbean steel drums. I was tempted by a hot pork roll at the pig roast, followed by a locally made plum flavoured ice cream. I followed this up later with a Stowford's Press Cider which was lovely.
There was loads of stalls selling all sorts of things which my wife loved, especially if it sparkled. I enjoyed looking at the vintage and classic cars which were displayed in a park area. There was something for all it seemed and the place was buzzing with people out to enjoy themselves on this last Bank Holiday of the year.I certainly did and walked a few miles in the mean time too so its time for a rest now and a little telly and couch time.
I gave my liquid oxygen a first run out today and found it ok as it is a little more compact than my old cylinders. I found carrying it in one hand by the handle better than the single shoulder strap. The level of oxygen used was easy to adjust for different levels of exertion, ranging from 6 litres to 2 litres for me and the LED level gauge was easy to read too.
Tony. This weather won't last much longer so best get out and enjoy it eh'
