What a good thing to read, worrying about the fact that my kitchen needs a good clean from top to bottom, and the fact that I cant reach the top shelf.

So true. Which is why I have a wonder-woman who cleans for me once a week, doing the jobs I cannot manage or that take too much time, so that I can do other things that I enjoy so much more.

Something like that yes. I have had this poem for years my husband found it and said it always reminded him of the state I used to get in when my MIL used to visit, until Mel said that if his mother didn't like the dust she could get rid of it herself but that wasn't why he married me to get a housekeeper
