Anemia??

Hi Guys,

just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of a connection with anemia and lung disease/disorders? I am wondering as I've noticed how pale I am under my eye lids and I was reading about the signs/symtoms of anemia and have quite a few of them.

Being anaemic would not help! I suggest you Get yourself checked out if concerned.

If you have regular blood checks it should show in your blood results, ask your doctor about this, probably a good idea to get checked out sooner rather than later as Kevin suggests. Whatever the cause anemia needs treating if you have it.

Take care

I Thought Anemia Was A Country Near Russia .... But When I Asked My Lung Doc He Said No Its Immune Deficiency .... Yes It Causes Lung Problems ie Lining Of Lungs Lose There Protective Moisture Lining ... That Stops Stomach Acid And Other Infections From Rotting Your Lung .... Good News Is Vitamin B12 Helps Restore Moisture

I think one symptom of anaemia is breathlessness, see if you can get it checked out

This is very interesting my hubby has just been tested for anaemia, he is always cold looks pale, he has no COPD but recently has been coughing up lots of phlegm and is very breathless it will be interesting to see if this improves when he is given medication. This site is wonderful for all sorts of reasons.

That's what my eyes are like! And last night I looked at myself in a mirror and I was shocked at how pale I looked!! Did your doc indicate he reason for your anaemia? Or did he just tell you that you are anaemic? I shall have to get some iron tablets I think..and see what happens...
