CSP/SSP has run out any advice on what I do next.
Hello matcass
I'm not well up on benefits and think you would be far better off giving the BLF Helpline a call. Their number is 03000 030 555 and the lines are open Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm. I'm sure there will be someone there who can advise you
Best of luck and keep on keeping on ....

Do not have a clue what the letters mean ?
Hi mattcass
From what you are saying you could be eligible for Contribution based employment and support allowance (ESA) - generally there is a 12 weeks assessment period (approx) and at the end of this the DWP will make a decision - either work related activity group (WRAG) - they accept you are unwell but say you can do some work, support group - they accept you are too unwell to work. Alternatively they may suggest Job seekers allowance - there is also the possibility of DLA.
Please give us a call though on 03000 030 555 and we can go through this with you in more detail.
Cheers
Jo
