A chest infection for a change

Well I was right it is a chest infection. No extra medication as taking my emergency antibiotics. The GP did say to take yakult to stop any side effects from the antibiotics.

Glad you saw the GP. Yakult is interesting - not heard of that one. Forgot the antibiotic I was taking a little while back, maybe diprocycline and that gave side effects.

I was advised to take Actimel while taking AB's because they kill good bacteria as well as bad.

I think Actimel and yakult are the same type of thing aren't they?

Yes. They're an expensive and sugary way to take probiotics. Get a bottle of capsules and put the good bacteria into your system.

My husband took some manuka honey too which I think helped. Hope you feel better very soon. Tad x x
