Hi been on benralizuamb faserna for around 18mnths now before i start though everyone is wired different. Some people are fine some require hospitals asap, slightly annoys me when i read some replies where people almost demand you stick at something just because it worked for them. Only you know your own body and if you feel its not working then speak to your health team regarding it not a forum too many google prognosis are made these days to the detriment of our health. Now with my rant over with i too at the beginning was suffering not only the pitted edema in my legs and ankles 'cankles' but also the fatigue, migraines, upset stomach, and although my cough and wheeze had subsided my shortness of breathe had no change. However i soon realised that this was in part due to my prednisolone withdrawal than the actual injection having been on maintenance dose of 30mg daily for 7+ yrs my tapper at the beginning was to sudden and was changed to a more slower rate. Fast forward over 12 months i still feel fatigue sometimes more likely age than anything but thankfully no other issues sadly im still on prednisolone down to 10 mg daily ill keep trying to lower it but adrenal glands dont seem to be working anymore. My advice is simple are you reducing your prednisolone if so look into it perhaps like myself your reducing to quickly and although this forum is wonderful it has helped me so much in the past please do not rely too heavily on replies always discuss any worries with your heslth care team. Good luck hope it all settles down for you.

Hi yes i do from time to time sometimes all it takes is a long day on my feet and as plumber so some days can be a struggle. Main thing is water drink as much as you can i know it sounds a little strange as after all edema is water retention but it does actually help and i would rather do that that take those god awful tablets. Actually got a little confused one morning and got them mixed up with my prednisolone took 8 of them only to realise my mistake when my eyes could focus mm that was an interesting day.. so yes i do still suffer but not as much and compared to having to be on full dose prednisolone no comparison. If your suffering is increasing even after drinking more water each day i would recommend speaking to your GP as its not healthy for your body having that much fluid and the longer you have the dreaded cankles the longer it takes to heal. Good luck hope it dies down for you

I’ve been on Benra for quite a while now, and I’ve eventually realised that if I take the it in the evening, I sleep off most of the side effects, and two paracetamol in the morning sorts out the headache. Possible worth a try? Good luck.
