COVID-19 antiviral treatments

So it’s happened I have tested positive for covid for the second time.

This time I feel unwell a lot more than the first time.

something else that is different this time is that I have been approved for COVID-19 antiviral treatment at home. This was not approved last time.

has anybody else been told they couldn’t have the treatment the first time put approved the next Time and how did you find the treatment.

I definitely feel more confident that covid is less severe than I did the first time.

how did you get approved? Was it by seeing GP or by reporting the results of the test? Sorry you feel rotten. Get better soon.

That's some good news at least. Unfortunately I was emailed regarding antivirals too late. I'd caught Covid two weeks prior... 🤦. Reassuring that for any future covid infections I'll be offered them.

Hello MikeMaxiJust reading your post. I was refused the first time, but no problem the 2nd time getting approved. Although as it was the weekend and picked up in hospital on a PCR I had to go out of hours GP. Bit of a palaver, as wasn't registered/or showing straight away.

Low and behold I only gone and tested postive again yesterday 😞

Easter weekend my guess is I won't hear till Tuesday.

Hope you are much improved?
